What The Hill?!

Here's some pics of the Hills since T and I moved up here! I spend a lot of time there!
Taylor LOVES to go into my purse and throw everything out of it... this time he found a five pack of gum. He has a thing about not letting you open any candy he has b/c he thinks you're trying to take it from him so instead he just eats wrappers. So as you can see he just ate threw the whole pack, all five pieces and wrappers too!
Here's a shocker, it SNOWED here! haha just kidding. But Tay went out to play with the kids in it and I just thought he looked like the Christmas Story kid! He looked so cute and bundled! She's channeling Aunt Katy Pants.
This is the Hill's own special form of torture that they call "tickle rodeo". You have to keep your hands above your head for 8 seconds while Mark tickles... so far Alex is the only child I've seen do this.
Taylor really likes my headbands, he always takes them off of me and wears them and he thinks it's hilarious!

This was the view from Tanner's hotel room when he was still coming up every week to work before we moved here.

video

And this is a video of Digs at his and Alex's basketball game... these are probably the most entertaining things to go and watch! (the girl in the video does get in trouble for "stealing")

Yellow Eye Harvest

Tanner grew some yellow eyes (the Boston Baked Bean) again this year and Laree was there to help harvest!

We got a full pound this year! (actually there are shells underneath all of these beans so we it would read a full pound)

Halloween and A Birthday!

Carrie and Mark came down General Conference weekend for a cousin's wedding and T and I watched the kids at our place.
The balcony was their favorite place to hang out, luckily the downstairs neighbors were out of town (I think)
After dinner we went to the duck pond to feed the ducks. I was very nervous about Taylor around the pond (wild man) so Tanner held him as I could not contain him, and he let T hold and he stayed still.

Then the kids played hide and seek and Digs found the best hiding spot and no one found him. We finally had to tell them as it wasn't a very comfortable hiding spot. That is the drawer underneath our stove which he picked out himself, I couldn't believe he fit.
Then we did my birthday!
This is one of my present's from the rent's in law, its soooo pretty! Then on the side of them is the Proclamation To The Family and The Living Christ, that Katy got for us.
Then halloween, this is Sof and Ella (I babysit them) in these darling outfits their mom made them for like $3!!! I thought they were the most darling things ever!
We did our usual carving of the pumpkins at the Thompson's.
I only got a picture of Dax's costume, Dew was a skeleton. My haunted house pumpkin
My goblins
Tanner's, he thought it could be our representing Boston pumpkin... it was wicked awesome!!

I think this one was Dave's

I'm So Behind

So here's some pictures from September...
We went to leatherby's for Lisa Michelle's birthday, Jamie got this nasty looking ice cream that looks like it's from the scene in Hook when they're eating dinner in Neverland, "Hey Rufio, if I'm a maggot burger, why don't you just eat me?!" I do believe Cris could not finish this!
Tanner and I went to the state fair to see sled pulls. This was a new thing for me as I don't think these exist out east. Trucks try to pull that white thing, it has a weight on it that slowly moves forward, as far as they can.
This was a ford, Tanner does not like fords, and he kept trying to go when he didn't have any more power to go and his whole truck started to bounce up and down then both his drivelines snapped! I think this tractor went out of the arena, that was pretty far.
Our last dinner with the Sophinator, sad sad day :(
This was a picture (not enhanced!)we took at our old apartment off the balcony, the sky was awesome, it looked fake!

Life Update

So for all of you out there who don't know, Tanner and I moved up to Idaho. I planned on making a post about it before it happened but I never was sure if it was a 100% thing that we would be moving, so now that we are here I'm pretty sure it is. Tanner got transfered/promoted up to Idaho Falls and had been staying in hotels and with Carrie before we were able to find a place. We moved up on Saturday during a great snow storm/white out, which was exciting b/c we got to see alot of people who think they know how to drive in the snow (being Utah drivers, they all think they do) and then run off the road and get stuck in ditches, or in some cases hit other cars, no big accidents though. We moved into a cute little 2 bedroom fourplex in Ammon, a right and a left turn away from Carrie, about 1.75 miles! We like the apartment, we have alot more space and the rooms are more sperate rooms than they were at our last place and we have a garage (and it helps its a TON cheaper than what we were paying). Tanner is liking the new job and I am going to have to learn to like the area, hopefully one day, though I do love being near Care and the kids!! I'll post pictures of the apartment once we get internet at our apartment and I can upload some... I have to use the internet at Tanner's work for now. So stand by!

August

So the only pictures I have of August are our trip up to Nikki's and our trip down to AZ.
Jayden after a bath... I think
Of course we had to go up to the shooting range and of course the kids had to ride in the back of T's truck!

Tanner helped take down the wall between the dining room and addition, this is the only picture I have of him remotely looking like he was helping (which he did!)
Those cookies did not last long once Nicole brought them out.
So we went down to AZ for little Tatum's baby blessing. The only pictures I really got of AZ was of our trip to the Phoenix Zoo... it rained the whole time we were there, the umbrellas were pretty pointless b/c I think we were all soaked at the end of the trip anyways.
These are of the farm section of the zoo
Shalie Roo talking to Tanner (at one point I had her calling him Uncle T-dizzle) in those megaphone things

I figure no one really wants to see the animals so I didn't post any of them but here is one of the rhinos.I'm not sure why she had the umbrella as she was not trying to shield herself from the rain. She greatly enjoyed running from puddle to puddle and getting as wet as possible.
And at the church after the baby blessing, the happy family.
And here she is all dressed up in her blessing dress, she is quite the darling little girl and we had fun getting to meet her!

Love That Dirty Water

So here's some pictures of our trip out to Boston for our reception out there. I some how lost all the pictures from up at Newbury Port except for these cute little fabric cupcake things we found in a shop.
Waiting to get on the duck boats, we had to get up super early to get in by 8:00
The dinosaur outside the museum and our duck boat.
That was our duck boat tour guide, I don't remember his name
After the duck tours we went into the museum of science and wandered around and fight all the third graders for the interactive exhibits that were there on a field trip
The lightening show
We also got to see an Omni movie, I think it was about the amazon... I still get nausea during them

Engine of something
And then there were monkeysWe walked around Boston for awhile
The Swan Boats
Make Way for DucklingsIt says Tannery... he didn't want to go in the store thoughThen the night before the reception dinner with the Brucskie LaPierres (that is homemade rootbeer)
Then we walked down to the new high school to see the new field and we found our brickAnd Tanner found a baseball and threw it at me We went into Boston again with Renee... this is them at Quincy Market
And I have no idea why there were giant rat blow ups in the street
Some crazy guy feeding a squirrel out of his hand!! He wanted rabies I guess
We walked down Newbury street and I took pictures of the stores I'm not rich or cool enough to enter

Paul Revere
Behind Old North Church
We took Tanner for some REAl pizza at Pizzeria Regina, and it was DELICIOUS!
And our last day there Tanner wanted to weed the garden... I did not

July 4th

here's some more old pictures that I never posted... July 4th picnic down in Provo.
Here's the grill master at work.

Trav was happy to be there
He got hold of the spoon and starting feeding himself
Not a fan of pickles
So I think at some point Soph got put in time out by the tree, and then decided to stay there so Jamie and Michelle's brother & friend went over to play some game with her.
Bryce and Lis were looking super cool in their new shades they had bought at the fair.

Then we went to Jamie's and did some fireworks.
These next two pictures are hilarious... watch Soph & Trav....
before the firework started
the second it started making sound
And they had a snaps fight, they threw those snapping things at each other's feet
Trav after the traumatic experience of fireworks
Bryce was excited about fireworks

Nails

So these are way late but I thought I'd post them b/c they're cute! All the LaPierre girls (minus mom, couldn't convince her to go) were able to go get our nails done (thanks, linda!) the night before the wedding! It was so fun to spend time with all the sistahs and I believe a lot of them had never gotten their nails done before!!

They didn't have enough nail people to take us all at once but here are some of us getting them done (renee, michelle, and I were already done) Nikki is all the way down, then carrie, katy, and laree

The only picture out of 10 where Lisa was actually smiling, despite my many efforts
