Wendover Air Show

We drove out to the Wendover air show on Saturday.

The F-16 was the coolest part of the whole show. Betsy was sooo excited that her dad gets to work on these. She kept telling me "my dad is so cool".

They said that the plane was pulling 9 G's. The vapor trail is pretty cool.

This was my first air show and now I'm hooked. I think that I will be at the Reno Air Races in September

Easter

We got to do a jelly bean hunt to start the festivities! Tanner was too cool for the picture.
Laree was pretty excited to get started.

Tanner was proud of this hiding spot.

I win, I found the must!!
Then we did the egg hunt with the boys!

 Opening up the eggs!

Easter Eggs

We did easter eggs with Dax & Dewdle and then we did them again with Renee and Steve and Laree.
This is Tanner's bloody egg. We did a new style of melting crayons on the egg right after they get out of the bowling water.

We forgot about the glitter until after the fact so this egg, I think got all of it.
 The finished eggs.
And some more eggs with the boys.

 Tanner's cool artsy egg picture.

 Dax is happy about eggs!

Leaving Day :(

Before we left on Saturday we had to stop at Dion's for some awesome pizza!

Poor Smemmett had a little blowout and this was the best solution to keep it held in.
He was so tramautized he just laid on his dad's shoulder like this for the next 20 min.

Then the drive home. I know many of you will be surprised by this, but it was an easy, quiet ride home. We gave each of the kids a video Ipod and a gameboy and we didn't hear from any of them hardly the rest of the ride home.
Poor Payt was sick, so there was a few complaints from him and a little banging, but he mostly slept or played on the ipod touch.

We made it home quite a bit later than expected because we hit a horrible snow storm in Spanish Fork Canyon. We saw a van spin off the road and almost over the edge of a cliff, we were sure glad Christopher flew out earlier in the week to drive us home! It was a great week though and I would recommend all of you taking a trip to the Lilrose Hotel, you'll never be bored and plenty of yummy food!
