we were waiting for renee to come out of the apartment so i guess this is the pre-jet skiing. tanner took me and renee jet skiing and it was soo so so so so so so much fun! we had a blast!!!i could have done it all day... if it wasn't starting to get so cold...

so we went to utah lake b/c it was closest... and well as you can see here the water is not something you want to fall in or you mite wake up in a week with an extra limb... and thats me in the side view mirror!
so there is a dead fish... just an example of how gross the water is.... it was a lovely shade of brown
more of just sitting at the dock... i wanted a picture of me on the jet ski and my super stretchy extendable arm....
so renee (and i) freaked out every time she went to try and turn her jet ski so i went on with her so tanner could show us that it is almost impossible to roll these ones... so renee and i rode together for a little bit (before tanners broke) and tried to go above 20 mph and to turn it...
so once we finally got past the no wake zone and were able to actually drive the jet skis, the one tanner and i were riding broke, something about oil and water... im not sure... so we had to go bring the jet skis in and tanner shut the other one down and loaded it up for the day... so then we all 3 just rode on one together and took turns driving... those things can go pretty fast.. with all 3 of us i got it up to 52 mph and tanner got it to 61 mph! going that fast makes tears come out!!! and renee and i finally (after tanner drove) were able to do sharp turns without thinking we were going to tip it! it was way fun! and tanner's favorite to do was donuts... we almost lost renee on one of them... which would have stunk to have landed in that water but luckily none of us got more than our ankles wet.. plus a little splashes in the face here and there!

so we went to put the jet skis away and tanner didn't have shoes so he wore my flip flops... i just thought that it was really funny.... but that was our day and at the end we went and picked up paul and went to tanner's for some swimming in the 90 degree pool and to grill some steaks! it was such a fun day! just sad i didn't get to see katy and micah who had to do like work?!! or something like taht... haha

OH my word, that looks like SO MUCH FUN!! I have fond memories of summers in Provo (though I think I only spent one summer there... oh well, it was a FUN one!). Glad no one fell in that water...dead fish = super gross.
ps - Bryce will laugh when he sees this... he thinks I have an obsession with eye brows (and maybe I do), but has anyone ever told you that you have GREAT eyebrows, Betsy? Seriously, they are GREAT. wanna trade??? :)
Well, Mahoney's waited too long to call, so I guess you'll have to spend the summer in UT. Shucks!
We already miss you and those big, cheesy smiles.
I think I'd worry less about growing another arm after falling into that lake at 60 mph than ever being able to feel ANYthing again!

Nice. Looks like the weather was calm for you. Whenever Mark's family goes to Utah lake it is really windy!
