San Diego: The Continuing Saga

Sea Port Viilage! A bunch of tiny little tourist-y shops right in San Diego's harbor (or port?) It was a cute and scenic little area. There's my attempt to get a picture of us coming into the city... but you can't really see
Tanner and his little buddy (note the sweet shoes)
I just thought this was cool
Me and Dew Dew, and he wore that (pajama) shirt ALLL week, he LOVES his "Lightning Mean"
Look who I found!! My arm is up because I'm trying to keep a flag out of the way and why my pose and face is horrrible!!

little duck pond

HUGE cactus

This was a REALLLY cool restaurant that was completely in the water and you could sit out on a deck and just look at the ocean... it was SOOOOO COOL!
Cool bridge... waaaay out there
Pirate ship

Colbyn doing his "O yea? O yea No? Bye!" and then he runs away...
Then we got to ride on a carousel!! You just paid for the kid then the adult who rode with them went for free. Dax wanted me to ride with him... and I can tell you going round and round is NO fun anymore!! I was pretty done after the first 2 minutes! This is Tanner's neice, she took awhile to make up her mind what she wanted to ride but she finally settled on this dog.

This was the horse next to me and Dax... we thought this design was a little odd.
Picture of the boys together.
And this was the crowd of paparazzi that gathered around the carousel. And then we ate some pizza (some REAL yummy pizza!!) and Colbyn was being a complete gooof
He had something stuck on the back of his tongue that was bothering him so I told him to stick out his tongue... and this is how he stuck it out, lots of help!
And it was COLD by the water and Dew just kept trying to snuggle with me so I gave him my sweater and he walked around the rest of the night in it and it was SO adorable.

San Diego Temple

I got to see my most favorite temple!!! And it was BEAUTIFUL!
We saw it first from the highway when we were driving south into the actual city of San Diego which is what the picture above is and then Tanner and I went on Friday night.

This is what the walls were... tiny little white rocks... it was pretty
The entrance

The doors were pretty and they were automatic sliding open ones... i don't know if that's normal or not but i thought it wasn't normal on temples This is the only picture i feel remotely okay about posting of myself... tanner and I took like a billion of these and I look horribly wierd in all of them

Can't wait to go back and see it again... ;)

San Diego Part 1

So I guess I'll start out my postings with pictures of all the flowers... and like 2 trees... that i took pictures of
These flowers was growing on the side of the driveway of out beach house

along with these

and these

The rest were all on the grounds of the temple

And they had a WHOLE garden of just gerber daisies in front of the entrance.... SO PRETTTY! more reason for the San Diego temple to be my favorite

VICA

So as you all know Tanner traveled to Kansas City the other week to compete in diesel mechanics for Skills USA... here's a photo of the city (not taken by tanner!) So I'm sure you're all wondering how he did and...... he got eighth out of thirty five people, which is still pretty good! He actually scored better overall than the first place winner. Tanner scored better on all of the tests except for 2 than the first place winner, but on those 2 he scored horrribly on and the first place kid scored pretty decently on them... but still, i think that means tanner's pretty much should be the winner... hehe

So while Tanner was gone, I got asked EVERYDAY by his nephew (not the one in the picture) if "No home?" (No is Colbyn's name for Tanner) or "Bees, I miss No, he come home now?" (I'm Bees) ooo and if I came home without Tanner I sure heard about it, he was convinced every time I came home I was brining Tanner with me... it was soo sweet and boy was he excited when he finally did come home! Tanner got the biggest and best hug of his life, he followed him around the rest of the weekend!!
