I wasn't so good at aiming the camera so that Dax's head got in the pictures.
And this is Colbyn getting into Tanner's stock of Cars... him and Dax love to get into them... and yes that is a completely filled laundry basket behind Dew of just Cars, Tanner has a lot.
and 2 ducks that Tanner had just got last week on the blog and I hadn't gotten around to naming them yet b/c i wanted Tanner's nephew to name one, when... 
on Wednesday Tanner got a phone call from his mom saying that our barn was on fire... we hurried up to South Jordan to see the damage and to try and do anything we could but this is what it looked like by the time we got up there... the firefighters had already come and put it out.
So we no longer have Thanksgivingdinner and Water, and all of the other animals which adds up to 14 babies all together (his buddy had just barely added 4 "teenage" chickens like the day before). We still have the other half of the barn but it needs to be fixed up before we can put animals in that side.
We found out (after the fact, from the renter) that the neighborhood kids, including the renters', have been sneaking into the barn everyday and we think they probably knocked down one of the heat lamps. :( We're pretty upset about it, Tanner and his buddy had put a lot of time and money into it... but Tanner's neighbor did donate $100 to "Tanner's Farmer Cooperative" she knew how hard they had worked on it and how excited Tanner was about being a farmer! So we're just going to try and fix that side back up again so we can have at least baby ducks again.
And this is me arc welding... i guess i should have taken pictures of how good my welding was.
And this is the plasma cutter.... LOTS o FUN! it was my favorite toy!

And this is an attempt to get a picture of my hair and the dirt that was allll over my face. I kept trying to itch my face or try to remove a bit of dirt on my face and i just spread more on.
He had to choose the day I had my hair all done cute and i didn't even get to go show it off... just got stuck under a welding helmet... sheeez
These are all four of them, i picked the tiniest one i could find at the store! He is the one sitting by the water bucket! Dax named one of the other ones Water... i guess he thought it went along great with Dinner!
... and unfortunately kissing them too. Without fail every time he kisses them. I guess because they are just so little they deserve kisses, here you can note the strangling of the bird.
Dax thought it was pretty funny that he jumped in this picture with me and my Dinner!
and then it pooped in my hand... Colbyn kept trying to hand feed/force feed him wheat that was sitting in a near bucket and i think he scared the thing into having an accident.
